Through her work, Christine Shevlin connects human aspects like storytelling and fantasy to her images; referencing art history and pop culture she brings interest to inanimate objects through nostalgia. Her passion for luxury combines with this practice to evoke intimacy, familiarity, and longing. 

Christine has a BFA in Photography from the Fashion Institute of Technology and currently lives and works out of New York City,

she completed her first still life in 1999 (see adjacent.)
